Preserving the Ukrainian cultural heritage
Ukraine’s cultural heritage faces unprecedented danger. Since the outbreak of war, countless irreplaceable works of art have been lost, damaged, or stolen. UNESCO reports that Russian aggression has destroyed or damaged 457 cultural sites, while The Economist estimates over 480,000 artworks have been taken, and at least 38 museums — home to nearly 1.5 million pieces — have been impacted. This threat endangers our national identity and history, calling for immediate action to safeguard it. Recognizing this urgency, we created the Ukrainian Fund of Digitized Art (UFDA) to ensure that Ukraine’s rich artistic legacy endures, preserved and accessible for generations to come.
Digitizing Ukraine’s Art
Our mission is simple yet profound: to protect, preserve, and share Ukrainian art with the world. In the face of immense threats to our national heritage, UFDA creates a secure, open digital archive that ensures these works of art are preserved, authenticated, and available for generations to come. By digitizing cultural treasures, we not only safeguard Ukraine's history but also engage the global community in the fight for cultural preservation. Furthermore, a portion of all proceeds from UFDA sales supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, blending the protection of heritage with national defense.

UFDA preserves Ukraine's cultural heritage through high-resolution digital art. We’ve digitized 2869 artworks from over 50 artists, spanning centuries of Ukrainian artistic expression. Each piece is securely tokenized on the blockchain, ensuring authenticity and long-term preservation.

UFDA is proud to partner with the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation in a shared mission to safeguard Ukrainian art and cultural heritage while supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of this collaboration, UFDA will dedicate a portion of all proceeds to the charity fund, directly aiding those who defend our nation and protect its cultural legacy on the front lines.
