Open Call for Artists and Institutions: Preserve Ukrainian Art with UFDA

Table of Contents

The Ukrainian Fund of Digitized Art (UFDA) is calling on Ukrainian museums, art institutions, galleries, and artists—especially those in regions most affected by the ongoing war—to join our open call and help safeguard the nation’s rich cultural heritage. Together, we can ensure the timeless beauty of Ukrainian art is preserved for future generations!

Protecting Ukrainian Art in Times of Crisis

In the face of ongoing war, Ukraine’s cultural heritage is at greater risk than ever before. The Ukrainian Fund of Digitized Art (UFDA) is committed to safeguarding the treasures of Ukrainian art by digitizing collections, ensuring their preservation, and sharing them with the world.

To date, we have digitized and safeguarded over 3,000 masterpieces by celebrated Ukrainian artists. This includes priceless works from the Nykanor Onatskyi Regional Art Museum in Sumy.

We now invite all Ukrainian artists, museums, art institutions, and galleries to join this vital initiative. By collaborating, we can protect Ukraine’s cultural identity and share it with the world.

Why Collaborate With UFDA?

  • Digital Preservation: In these uncertain times, digitizing ensures that Ukrainian art and culture are preserved for future generations, regardless of the challenges faced by physical collections. UFDA leverages cutting-edge technologies such as DLCT and blockchain-based solutions to digitize and safeguard works.
  • Global Visibility and Recognition: By joining UFDA’s open catalog, your artworks will gain international exposure, helping to highlight Ukraine’s rich cultural legacy.
  • Support a Greater Cause: Digitized works can also be sold independently from physical originals, with proceeds directed to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces or other charitable efforts.
