Biography of We Bad
Lera Sxemka and Maxim Pavlyuk started collaborating in 2015. Since then, they have completed several projects and showcased their work in various group shows.
We Bad’s paintings have been exhibited in collective exhibitions “Let us in” in Paris (2019), “ARTsavedLIFE” in Kyiv (2020), and Vianočný XMAS ART INVEST in Košice (2023). Notably, their works have been showcased in the AR exhibition “12 monthly” in Kyiv in 2019.
The duo has worked on projects for various brands and companies, including Puma, Converse, Silpo, GoodWine, 1plus1 TV channel, Molodist KIFF, and Brave Festival among others.
We Bad’s Famous Paintings: Blending Illustration and Art
The duo’s work explores the evolution of social challenges, inequalities, and the limits of what is considered acceptable in public spaces. In an interview with BURSA, Lera shared that she is inspired by the world and life. Maxim, in his turn, draws inspiration from the life, movement, nature, space, and its unexplored boundaries

Infused with irony and love for the surrounding world, as well as internet culture, their creations bring a playful yet thoughtful approach to serious themes.
