Nickita Tsoy is a Ukrainian artist recognized for his thought-provoking works that delve into themes of identity, memory, and historical narrative.

Nickita Tsoy is celebrated for his exploration of identity, memory, and historical narratives through painting, installations, video art, and sculpture, with painting as his primary medium. Rooted in cynical realism, his works critically examine the construction of history in a post-ideological era, addressing themes of self-acceptance, dissonance, and ideological consciousness, reflecting his unique perspective on modern social, political, and cultural issues.

Born in Kyiv in 1991, Nickita Tsoy was raised in a creative family. This allowed him to develop his drawing skills within a creative environment that encouraged freedom of self-expression.

He attended two art schools and graduated from the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture (2010–2016) and the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (2018–2019).

Tsoy explores themes of identity, memory, and the interpretation of historical events, often questioning how history is presented and perceived. He employs various mediums, including installations, video art, and sculptures, to provoke critical thinking and offer alternative perspectives.
