Olha Zaremba's Art Style
Olha Zaremba's art delves into the psychological landscape of fear and anxiety, themes that have taken on new depth in the face of war. Her work captures the shifting emotional states that arise from crisis, transforming personal and collective trauma into visual expression. Through painting, she not only processes these emotions but also finds a way to contribute to Ukraine's resilience—using her art to support charitable causes and military aid. For Zaremba, painting is both a means of self-exploration and an act of solidarity, proving that creativity can serve as a powerful tool in times of turmoil.
Zaremba's artstyle is an inquiry into perception and reality. Her project "SENSE" challenges the way we see the world, focusing on how familiar objects and spaces are distorted by human perception. By deconstructing everyday surroundings and exploring the illusions of vision, she compels viewers to question their own understanding of reality. The tension between what is seen and what is truly there becomes a central motif in her art, prompting a deeper reflection on how subjective and fragile our perception of the world can be.
