Inga Levi’s Art Style
Levi’s art explores the interconnectedness of outer and inner landscapes, reflected in her work with urban landscapes, mosaics, installations, and transdisciplinary art. In the 2000s, she became interested in urban space, architecture and monumental art, which was reflected in artistic practice as work with the urban landscape.
In February 2022, the artist embarked on creating "Double Exposure," an expansive art series and a daily chronicle of life during the war. Today, the series comprises nearly 800 graphic sheets — each representing a day of the war. Every sheet is an evocative and documentary layering of two realities from a specific day: events of the war, frontline news, or the lives of soldiers intertwined with civilian life, the artist's personal experiences, and the broader social context within and outside the country.
