Biography

Vita Kotyk (born in 1998 in Romny, Ukraine) is a curator, researcher, editor, art manager, and cultural journalist.

She is a curator of contemporary art exhibitions. Co-curator of the exhibition "Preparation for Loss" by Illia Todurkin (The Naked Room, Kyiv). She was the art manager for the exhibition “Lomykamin. Women’s Resistance in Crimea” (Kyiv, Representation of the President’s Office in Crimea). She is the curator of the exhibition and event series "It’s love, darling" with Daria Molokoiedova and Karina Synytsia. In 2023, she became the art manager of the Avangarden Gallery. She is the author of publications and articles on culture and art for Suspilne.Culture, Artslooker, etc.

In 2021, she graduated with a master's degree from the Institute of Philology at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. She is a graduate of curator education courses at PinchukArtCentre in 2023 and 2024. Currently, she lives and works in Kyiv.
