Ukrainian Cultural Heritage in XR: The UFDA Collection Now Available Through DO XR

The Ukrainian Fund of Digitized Art is pleased to announce that more than 4,000 digitised artworks from the Fund’s collection are now accessible in immersive XR through DO XR, an immersive art viewer developed by Digital Original. Through this partnership, visitors can experience Ukrainian art in immersive XR on Meta Quest and explore every work in extraordinary detail.

DO XR allows visitors to experience artworks at gallery scale in an immersive virtual space, moving freely between works and exploring every detail in high resolution. The core mechanic mirrors how you experience art in real life: as you approach a work, higher-resolution asset layers load progressively. This creates a viewing experience that feels closer to visiting a physical gallery than browsing images on a traditional screen.

To explore Ukrainian art in full detail, users will need a compatible device (Meta Quest 3, 3S, or Pro). From there, the process is straightforward: install the DO XR application, select any artwork, and tap View artwork in XR.

All works presented on UFDA — more than 4,000 pieces spanning independent artists and museum collections — are available for viewing through the DO XR application. The collection includes works by historical figures such as Davyd Burliuk and Tetiana Yablonska, alongside contemporary artists including Nikita Kadan, Zhanna Kadyrova, Zhenya Machkovska, Polina Shcherbyna, Yuriy Bolsa, and more.
