APL315, born in 1986, studied at Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University, attending the Faculty of Biology from 2004 to 2008.
Initially emerging as a graffiti writer in the early 2000s, APL315 spent years working in urban environments before evolving into post-graffiti practices. In the 2010s, the artist began experimenting with alternative media. He also integrates his background in entomology with a newfound passion for amateur archaeology and metal detection, shaping his interdisciplinary projects.
APL315 has held numerous solo exhibitions both in Ukraine and internationally, at renowned venues such as the Klosterneuburg Abbey Museum in Klosterneuburg, Austria; Lavra Gallery in Kyiv, Ukraine; V9 Gallery in Warsaw, Poland; Dukley European Art Community in Budva, Montenegro; Kyiv National Art Gallery in Kyiv, Ukraine; Foksal Gallery in Warsaw, Poland; and Hupromo Gallery in Odesa, Ukraine.
Group exhibitions featuring APL315's works include "Don't Forget Me" at Perspective Gallery in Paris (2024), Berlin Bishkek Art Weeks Exhibition & Intercultural Art Festival about Migration in Berlin (2023), and "Artist Support Ukraine" at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin (2022), among many others.
