Yuliia Pokydko is a Ukrainian artist who works with her own signature technique combining stencil printing and hand-drawn graphics.

Biography of Yuliia Pokydko

The artist was born in 2003 and lives in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, specialising in Graphics and Book Illustration (2020–2025). She also studied at the Land Art School in Kyiv under the mentorship of Nataliia Lisova (2024).

Yuliia Pokydko's works have been exhibited since 2023. Notable exhibitions include Pro(movy) at the Small Gallery of Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv (2023); the Fundament Book Festival at the Ukrainian House, Kyiv (2024); the 13th International Book Arsenal Festival, Kyiv (2025); Le Signe — Centre national du graphisme, France (2026); and the 5th All-Ukrainian Triennial of Book Graphics at the House of Artists, Kyiv (2026).

In addition, the artist participated in residencies, including Search and Observation: Darnytsia River at Depot12_59 in Kyiv (2024), and Collective Practices at the Kut Gallery in Kyiv (2024).

Yuliia Pokydko is a finalist of the Best Book Design competition in the Experiment category (2024). In 2026, she was shortlisted for the PICTORIC illustration competition.

Yuliia Pokydko’s Famous Works: The Art of Nature

A significant portion of the artist's body of work consists of graphic works. Among Yuliia Pokydko’s original graphics, notable titles include FLOWERS (2024), THE FOREST GOES ON, GOES ON... (2024), Series 10 (2023), Colours (2023), and others.

UFDA has digitised ten works by Yuliia from Series 10, which are now available to a wide audience on the foundation's website.

Beyond her direct work in graphics, the artist is involved in various collaborations. These include hand-painted gift box personalisation for clients of Jo Malone London; custom hand-painted fans created for the opening events of MAC Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown stores; and six large-scale hand-painted Chinese calligraphy banners produced for a cultural event.

Land art also holds a distinct place in her practice. Yuliia Pokydko worked on projects such as Braid (2024) and Underfoot (2024) during her studies at the Land Art School.
