Sasha Demyter’s Art Style

The artist’s visual language was profoundly shaped by a diverse range of artistic influences. Among the most significant was the French post-impressionist group Les Nabis. Additionally, the British school of painting—especially the precise and contemplative works of Euan Uglow and Diarmuid Kelley— greatly influenced him. Equally important was the influence of American artist Ann Gale, whose meticulous and thoughtful exploration of corporeality, perception, and materiality provided a vital point of reference for the artist.
