Anna Veriki is a Ukrainian artist who works in various media, primarily in painting and graphics.

Anna Veriki's paintings have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows. Her works are held in state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

The artist was born in 2002 in Chernihiv, Ukraine. From a very young age, she showed a strong interest in art and subsequently attended the Shevchenko State Art School in Kyiv, where she studied in the Faculty of Painting.

Later, Anna continued her artistic education at the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture, where she studied in the Faculty of Painting from 2019 to 2022.

Artwork of Anna Veriki has been showcased in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Her solo shows include "Seed" at Pidhirtsi Castle in Lviv Region (2025), "Anna and her Animals" at Ryan Graf Contemporary Gallery in San Francisco (2024), "These Flowers Are for You" at the National Museum of Lviv in Lviv (2021), and "Enamel" at MC "Chocolate House" in Kyiv (2021). 

Anna Veriki's art has also been included in group shows, including the LA Art Show in Los Angeles (2025), Vienna Art Parallel in Vienna (2024), "Shadows of Us" at Art Axcess Gallery in Los Angeles (2024), "Unbreakable" at Ukrainian Institute of America in New York (2023), among others.

Currently, the artist lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. 

The artist has created numerous works delving into fundamental human emotions, childhood memories, and the intertwined complexities of love and fear. Anna frequently uses her own body as a point of reference, viewing this personal connection as a means of creating a deeper sense of intimacy with her audience. 

Anna Veriki's original paintings include "Water Caltrop" (2025), "Inner Wild Animal Control Center" (2025), "Don't Look Up" (2024), "Running. Fragment" (2024), "Horse by the Sea" (2024), among others. These works have been digitized by UFDA and are now available for sale at the fund's website. 

The artist focuses on depicting animals and the human body, often integrating naïve elements into her compositions. Her work centers on the theme of primordiality, which she interprets as a return to the origins — to basic human settings and simple, unburdened emotions.

For Veriki, animalistic imagery represents sincerity, while the depiction of the naked body embodies openness and vulnerability. These representations are not intended as self-portraits but rather as universal expressions of exposure and honesty between the artist and the viewer.

Working primarily in monochrome, the artist emphasizes narrative and emotion through simplicity. Her paintings convey raw, immediate thoughts, capturing the direct transfer of emotion onto the canvas.
