Anatomy of Spineless Series by Vitalii Kravets is a visual reflection on ruscism. The series was created during air raid alarms in the early days of the full-scale invasion as a kind of personal psychological refuge but grew into something more — an attempt to capture and express in our enemies what defies words and can only be conveyed through images.

Working in sync with the schedule of air raid alarms became a form of sublimation of emotions for the artist, eventually culminating in an extensive, meaningful, and somewhat ironic series of graphic works.

As the artist himself notes, “Spinelessness is an inherent trait of totalitarianism.” Through his ironic depictions of the "heroes" of hostile culture, Kravets warns against falling into its traps once again.
